Sir Keir Starmer will continue cosying up to the EU on Tuesday when he welcomes Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen at Downing Street.
The leaders would have crossed paths in Brussels on Monday when Sir Keir jetted to an EU summit in an effort to strengthen ties with the Bloc.
Brexit reset minister Nick Thomas-Symonds has given a speech this morning in Brussels this morning, and said the UK wants "closer working with our allies in the EU". He confirmed Sir Keir will hold a major summit with EU leaders in May.
The second day of pro-EU events followed a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at Chequers on Sunday and a big meeting of EU heads of state yesterday.
