Big update on free gas cylinder.. Do you have to book by that date?
The coalition government is taking steps in the state with the aim of public welfare. It is implementing the promises made in the elections one by one. Recently, CM Chandrababu launched the free gas cylinder scheme, which is one of the Super Six promises, as a Diwali gift.
Currently, the state government is providing three gas cylinders free of cost per year to families with white ration cards as part of the Deepam-2 scheme. However, many people have booked the first instalment of the gas cylinder. However, some people have not yet booked the first instalment of the gas cylinder.
Minister Nadendla Manohar, along with CM Chandrababu, said that every eligible woman in the state will be provided with a free gas cylinder. He said that the scheme is being implemented even though the state is currently in huge debt. He revealed that the government is working with the aim of public welfare.
While 12 lakh people across the state booked gas cylinders within three days of the launch of the scheme.. many women still have not booked their first in instalment gas cylinder. All of them should book the first tranche of gas cylinders provided free by the government by March 31st.
Otherwise, if they book gas after March 31st, it will come under the second tranche of gas cylinders. With this, the beneficiaries will be given away the first tranche of gas subsidy. As a result, they will get only two free cylinders in a year.
For the current financial year, one cylinder will be given free of cost for each gas connection till March next year. From the financial year 2025-26, three gas cylinders will be given every four months every year.
Changes have been made to the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme and arrangements have been made so that when a gas cylinder is booked, cash will be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiaries immediately after delivery. Eligible women beneficiaries can book a free gas cylinder till the end of March.
