How to apply for duplicate Aadhaar online
Step 1: First of all you have to visit the official UIDAI website.
Step 2: After this, the Aadhaar service section will be visible on the UIDAI website. It will appear in the menu bar or drop-down menu.
Step 3: Then you will see the option "Retrieve Lost UID / EID". This will take you to a new page, from where you can request for a duplicate Aadhaar card.
Step 4: After this, click on the "Retrieve Lost UID / EID" option and enter the Aadhaar number or enrollment number.
Step 5: Then enter the required information like full name, registered mobile number and email. Then you will see a security code. After this, additional information like registered address and date of birth will have to be entered.
Step 6: After filling the details, click on Send OTP option. Then tap on the one-time password option. After this, enter OTP and verify it.
Step 7: Once the OTP is entered, you have to click on the captcha code and then the submit button.
Step 8: After OTP verification, your Aadhaar number will be displayed on your mobile number. After this, it has to be selected and confirmed.
