Pakistani dramas have gained significant traction internationally, particularly in India, due to their engaging narratives and strong performances.

This surge in popularity has sparked concern among Indian television producers, with many actors noting the distinct appeal of Pakistani shows.

Recently, renowned Indian actor Hiten Tejwani shared his perspective on the factors contributing to the success of these dramas.

According to Tejwani, the key to Pakistani dramas’ success lies in their authentic and relatable storytelling.

He explained, “It’s the realism of their plots that resonates with viewers. The mature love stories they tell are much appreciated by audiences who prefer content that feels grounded. When people watch both, they’ll likely choose Pakistani dramas for their simplicity and emotional depth.”

He added, “I’m confident that Pakistani viewers enjoy Indian shows for their vibrant entertainment, much like our audiences are drawn to their realistic stories.”

On the other hand, many Pakistani viewers have shifted away from Indian dramas, claiming that they no longer hold the same appeal.

Fans attribute the success of Pakistani shows to their concise storytelling, free from unnecessary extensions, and their ability to convey simple yet powerful narratives without excess.
