Rajasthan Crime: In Boron Ka Sher village of Sadar police station area in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan, three miscreants attacked a bike rider with a knife for not paying money for liquor. The youth was seriously injured in the attack. He has been admitted to Dungarpur District Hospital. 

The attackers fled after the attack. The police have registered a case and started investigation. According to the information of the case, Sunil son of Kawa Badot, resident of Sarera village of Kherwada tehsil, was coming towards Dungarpur on his bike from his village.

While on his way to Dungarpur, in Boro ka Sher village, near Dewal village, three miscreants on a bike stopped Sunil and asked for money for drinking alcohol, to which Sunil refused to give money. 

After he refused to give the money, the three youths started beating him and attacked him with a knife on his back and hand, seriously injuring him and then fled from the spot. The injured youth was taken to the district hospital with the help of 108. Where the injured youth is undergoing treatment.

District Collector Dr. Indrajit Yadav held a review meeting on child protection, labor reform and women welfare in Banswara district. Officials from various departments including Labor Department, Women and Child Development Department participated in this meeting held in the auditorium located in the Collectorate premises. 

In the meeting, there was an in-depth review of the prevention of child marriage, the work done by the Child Welfare Committee, the activities of the Juvenile Justice Board and the work of various institutions related to child protection. The District Collector, while giving instructions to the concerned officials, said that effective steps should be taken for the protection of child rights, empowerment of women and welfare of workers. 

The District Collector said that special campaigns will be launched to increase awareness and sensitize the society so that evil practices like child labor and child marriage can be completely stopped. The officers present in the meeting presented their progress reports and also discussed the upcoming plans.
