Turkish sports outlet Fanatic alleges that Galatasaray contacted Belgium star Kevin de Bruyne for transfer talks.
The 33-year-old’s contract with Manchester City expires this summer, and Galatasaray is prepared to go all-in for his signature, according to reports.
Reports suggest De Bruyne’s financial demands are hard to meet, with the Belgian playmaker requesting €10 million as a signing bonus.
Although a February move seems unlikely, Galatasaray’s management reportedly is pushing the limits to make the transfer happen before the deadline.
De Bruyne has long been linked with a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) at the end of the season.
However, his former Belgium teammate Dries Mertens is reportedly working to persuade him to choose Istanbul instead.

English newspaper The Sun suggested that Manchester United and Napoli are discussing a high-profile swap deal involving Marcus Rashford and Victor Osimhen.
According to the report, Manchester United aim to address their goal-scoring issues with this potential exchange, while Napoli could benefit from Rashford’s dynamic presence.
