Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has implemented an important change in the dress code for the students appearing in the 2025 class 12th intermediate annual examination. From February 6, 2025, students will not be allowed to wear shoes and socks inside the examination hall. This new instruction comes after a temporary relaxation in the dress code, now with the improvement in the weather, BSEB has decided to revert to the original dress code policy.

Dress code change: From February 6, 2025, students will have to follow the original dress code of BSEB, under which wearing shoes and socks inside the examination hall is prohibited.

Temporary relaxation: Temporary relaxation for shoes and socks was implemented from February 1 to February 5, 2025, due to cold weather conditions.

Exam Details: The BSEB Class 12 Intermediate exam is being conducted at 1677 centers across Bihar with a total of 12,92,313 candidates enrolled. The exams began on February 1, 2025, and will continue till February 15, 2025.

Strict exam protocol: To ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exams, the BSEB has put in place several security measures. These include a two-tier search process, three-tier magistrate deployment, CCTV surveillance, and strict entry protocols.
