A cannibal leopard has once again arrived in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. This leopard has also attacked four people on Thursday morning. In a hurry, these four people were admitted to the Primary Health Center, where the doctors have referred to a big hospital after seeing the condition of three people critical. The incident is from Buryan village of Karikot, a gram panchayat adjacent to the forest.
At that time these four people were going towards the fields for the direction ground. According to the villagers, Ramakant, who lives in Banyan village, was going for defecation on Thursday morning. During this time, the leopard attacked him. Ramakant was seriously injured in this. After this, the leopard also attacked Sandeep present in his house. The information of both these incidents caused a stir in the district.
The forest workers immediately reached the spot and investigated and the search for the leopard was started. In this case, two other people also got information about the attack. According to DFO Bahraich B Shivshankar, his team inspected the opportunity as soon as the information is received. Now forest workers are looking for leopards. Keeping the safety of the villagers in mind, there is continuous combing in the area. He told that by looking at the pugmark, it is evident that the leopard has attacked. Therefore, cages are also being installed to catch it.
Not only Bahraich, Leopard terror has also been seen in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. In Belha Dih village of Nighasan area of the district, leopard attacked a farmer working in the field. The farmer died in this attack. The deceased farmer has been identified as 55 -year -old Nandkishore Yadav. According to the villagers, he was cutting lahi in his field. So, the leopard attacked by leaving the sugarcane field nearby. At the same time, when Nand Kishore fell on the ground, the leopard dragged him to the sugarcane field and killed him. According to Ranger Gajendra Bahadur Singh of Lakhimpur, an alert has been issued in view of the situation.
