Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Stenographer. The application process for this recruitment has started. Eligibility to apply

To become a stenographer in BSEB, candidates have the condition of passing Intermediate i.e. 12th class from a recognized board. Apart from this, candidates should have a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand (steno). Also, a speed of 40 words per minute is required in Hindi typing. Only candidates who fulfill these conditions can apply for this post.

Salary and Selection Process

The selection for this vacancy released by BSEB will be done through a walk-in interview. The interview will be held on 15 February 2025. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 70,000 per month. This post will be filled on an outsourcing basis and the tenure of the selected candidates will be for the first two years. If the performance of the candidate is good then the tenure can also be extended.

Candidates will have to take many important documents with them to attend the interview. These should include biodata/application form, and original and self-attested photocopies of all documents related to educational qualification. Candidates should have computer knowledge and MS Office. Along with this, it is also compulsory to have at least 6 years of experience in a government department or a reputed private institution.
