HDFC Bank is the second largest bank in the country. It is the largest bank in the private sector. Some of its UPI related services will be closed on February 8. The bank says that it will put the system on maintenance for its UPI services. Due to this, customers will not get service for some time. Meaning that during this time, customers will not be able to use many services including UPI transactions. Let's know when and how this will happen.

When will the service be disrupted?

HDFC Bank's UPI services will not be available on February 8, 2025 from 12:00 midnight to 3:00 am IST (3 hours). Meaning, from 12 midnight to 3 am on February 8, you will not be able to transact with UPI. For more information about this, you will have to check the bank's website.

Which services will be affected?

During this time, UPI transactions on HDFC Bank current/savings accounts, RuPay credit cards, HDFC mobile banking app and third party application providers (TPAPs) supported by HDFC Bank for UPI will be affected. Also, merchant UPI transactions through HDFC Bank will also be affected. That is, if you pay the shopkeeper with UPI, then that too will not be possible during this time.
