Complaints can be made against such shopkeepers. For this, Consumer Protection Act, 1986,2019 has also been made. If the shopkeeper is refusing to replace your defective goods. So you can also complain about it in the Consumer Court.
And if you want, you can complain in the Consumer Court sitting at home. For this you have to complete the online process. To file a complaint, first of all you have to go to the official website of Consumer Court https://e-jagriti.gov.in/.
After this you have to register there. You will register as a new user. After that you will get a username and password. You have to login with that username and password.
After logging in, you have to click on the option of 'File a Complaint'. After this you have to fill the complaint form, along with filling the form, you have to upload some important documents related to it and you have to pay a fee, after this you will submit your form, you will be given a complaint number.
After this your complaint will be accepted, notice will be sent to both the parties from the court, both the parties will put their point of view, and after this the court will give a decision on whether compensation will be given or not. Or whatever decision will be taken regarding the product, the court will decide it.
