Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi ’s much-anticipated survival drama Thandel has finally hit the big screens, garnering mixed to positive responses from audiences.

For those eagerly waiting to watch ‘Thandel’ from the comfort of their homes, the film is set to stream on Netflix after its theatrical run. Though an exact digital premiere date has not been confirmed, reports suggest that the film may arrive on the platform approximately 50 days after its theatrical release.


The OTT platform recently confirmed the news via their Twitter handle. Sharing a poster from the film, they tweeted, “When fate drags them across borders, only courage can bring them home. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel is inspired by a true story from Srikakulam, where a fisherman and his companions accidentally drift into Pakistani waters and are imprisoned in Karachi. The film showcases their harrowing ordeal, including brutal torture and the struggle to survive without proper food and clothing.
