With 16 percent growth, the figure increased to 4,65,920 units. Two-wheelers, three-wheelers, tractors and commercial vehicles have all seen growth in the auto sector.

The two wheeler segment has performed better in the first month of the year. The two wheeler segment has recorded a growth of 4 percent. On the other hand, if we compare it with January 2024, then only 14,65,039 units were sold last year. In the year 2025, the figure increased to 15,25,862. Urban 5 percent growth has been seen. At the same time, if you go to the rural area, then a growth of 4 percent has been recorded in the auto sector. This boom is due to the wedding season, the new bike launch and the facility of getting a loan easily.
In the first month of the year, there has been a growth of 8 percent in the commercial vehicle segment. This figure has reached 99,425 units. This segment has gained a lot of benefit from growth in the demand for goods carrying vehicle and passenger vehicle.
In the case of sales, where two wheelers and passenger vehicles have grown in sales, tractors and three-wheelers are also not behind. The tractor segment has recorded a 5 percent early growth. In January, its sales figure reached 93,381 units. The three-wheeler segment has grown 7 percent.
According to the report, the month of February will also prove beneficial for the auto sector. This month too, growth can be seen in cars, two wheelers and three wheeler cells.
