Maha Kumbh 2025: Due to the crowd of Maha Kumbh, a big decision has been taken regarding the operation of schools in Prayagraj. All the schools in the district will remain closed from 7 to 12 February from class 1 to 8. Classes in schools will run in online mode. This order has been issued for schools of all boards in rural and urban areas. However, teachers of council schools will go to school.

The order to run classes online in schools has been issued by District Basic Education Officer (BSA) Praveen Kumar Tiwari. This order will be applicable in council, government, government aided and English and Hindi medium schools recognized by all boards.

Teachers will be present at school

In the order issued by BSA, it has been said that all the teachers and teachers will attend the school and do DBT, Apaar ID generation, Aadhar seeding and other important departmental work. It has been said that strict compliance of the order should be ensured.

Holidays in schools extended in Varanasi too.

Due to Maha Kumbh, orders have been given to keep schools closed in Varanasi from the 5th to 8th February. Classes will run in online mode.
