1- IIT Palakkad Summer Internship: This internship is for science, engineering and humanities students. Third and fourth year students of 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering/technology/science can apply for this. This internship is for 6 weeks. In this, the accommodation of the student will also be arranged by IIT Palakkad. The candidates selected for this internship will be given a stipend of ₹ 8000 per month (₹ 12000/ for the entire period).
2- National Renewable Energy Internship Program: This opportunity is being provided by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). Students from engineering, science, management, law and other streams can do internship in ministries and organizations. MNRE provides internship opportunities twice a year as per its requirement. All selected interns are given a stipend of Rs 15000 per month. The duration of internship is from 2 to 6 months.
3- WSAI IITM Summer Internship: Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI (WSAI), IITM, conducts this summer internship. This internship is for students who are in the pre-final year of a 4-year undergraduate program / first year of 2-year post-graduation (regular/full time engineering or science). The duration of the internship is a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months. This is an in-person summer internship. The interns selected for this are also given a stipend.
4- Digital India Internship Scheme: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has started this internship for those Indian students who have scored at least 60% marks in the final degree or certificate examination. Engineering, Masters and Law students can apply for this internship. Selected students will get a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month.
