In a shocking incident in Kerala's Kozhikode district, a 29-year-old woman allegedly jumped from the first floor of a hotel to escape an attempt to rape her by three men. A video released by the victim's relatives on Tuesday shows her resisting the attack. According to reports, the woman is seen pleading for help and asking to be left alone in the clip.

The accused is absconding

The incident took place around 10.30 pm on Saturday night, when the woman accidentally turned on her phone camera while playing a mobile game. It inadvertently recorded the attack by her employer and two employees, who are currently absconding. Unfortunately, the woman suffered spinal injuries along with other minor injuries.

He is currently undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Government Medical College, the report said. A case has been registered against the hotel owner and two employees and efforts are on to nab the accused.

GR. Noida woman committed suicide by jumping

In another incident in Greater Noida, on February 2, 2025, a 44-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 21st floor of her building. The incident took place in ACE City Society under the limits of Thana Bisrakh area. According to the family member of the deceased, the woman was suffering from mental illness and was undergoing treatment.
