It is believed that the temple priests gathered each piece and combined them together using naze, lentil flour and some without sugar butter. After a few months, the Shivling looks as before.

Story -

It is said that once a demon named Kulant used to live in Kullyuni valley. One day he turned his form into a huge snake and roamed the whole village and reached the village of Lahaul-Spiti. To do this, he tried to stop the flow of the Beas River, causing floods in the village. Lord Shiva was looking at the demon, angry he started fighting with him. After Shiva kills the demon and immediately killing the snake, it turned into a huge mountain, making the city name Kullu. There is a belief about electricity that Lord Indra gives electricity every 12 years at the behest of Lord Shiva.

This temple is located about 20 km from Kullu and you can reach here by tracking 3 km. This trek is very entertaining for tourists. This place is best to enjoy some beautiful scenes of valleys and rivers.
