This week, startups across seed, early and late stages secured funding through 24 deals, down from 51 during the same period last year, when the total funding reached $120 million, according to data intelligence platform Tracxn.

Top deals of the week

Myntra: Online fashion retailer Myntra received an $81-million infusion from its parent firm Flipkart, marking its second investment in 2024 after a $339-million infusion in March.

Cashfree Payments: Online merchant payment startup Cashfree Payments secured $53 million in an equity funding round led by South Korean entertainment company Krafton along with participation from existing investor Apis Partners, which is a UK-based private equity fund.

TrueFoundry: AI deployment and scaling platform TrueFoundry raised $19 million in Series A funding, led by Intel Capital, with participation from existing investors Eniac Ventures and Peak XV’s Surge.

Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds: Jewellery brand Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds raised around $11 million in funding from fund houses, broking firms, and family offices.
