We've all been there - struggling to put a bracelet on when nobody else is around.
A bracelet can be the perfect finishing touch to an outfit, but if it's clasped, it can be difficult to put on yourself. You can be there for ages, desperately trying to close it, getting hot, sweaty and frustrated in the process because all you want to do is put on a piece of .
Maybe sometimes, you've even had to give up on it. But thanks to this , which was shared by 'Easy Gadget' on , you won't have to go out sans bracelet anymore.
To ensure you can put on your bracelet unaided, all you need is the desired jewellery and a bobby pin. First, you need to slip the bobby pin into the end ring of the bracelet, where the clasp will go.
Then, with one hand, open the clasp. Hold the bobby pin down, so there's no way it's going to come out of the ring, then wrap the bracelet around your wrist and insert the clasp into the end ring.
Then, you need to just pull the bobby pin out, and congratulations - you've just put on a bracelet by yourself without anyone's assistance. And without struggling either!
In the comments of the video, people were amazed by the hack, and that it actually worked for them. One said: "For the first time in a very long time, I saw something actually helpful."
Another replied: "I sell bracelets at craft shows; I think I will incorporate a dish of Bobby pins because so many tell me they wouldn’t be able to put it on."
Somebody else wrote: "Oh my gosh, for all these years, I've struggled, and all I needed was a bobby pin". And a Facebook user shared: "I cannot even count how many times I said f*** it and didn't wear my bracelets out. This is a great idea!"
Meanwhile, a commenter pointed out that if you don't have hair pins handy because you don't wear them, then an "unfolded paperclip" works the exact same way. Genius!
