Mumbai: The 22nd edition of the Property and Home Finance Exhibition, organized by CREDAI MCHI Thane, was inaugurated on Friday by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The four-day event, themed "Making Dream Homes a Reality," aims to provide home seekers with a wide range of housing options and financial solutions.

Speaking at the event, Shinde highlighted Thane’s rapid transformation into the "city of choice" for homebuyers, crediting major infrastructure projects for enhancing connectivity and livability. Recalling his association with the expo since its inception, he noted its growth as a reflection of Thane’s evolving real estate market.

Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik emphasized that the expo was a testament to Thane’s popularity among home seekers, as the city continues to offer some of the best housing options within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

CREDAI MCHI Thane President Jitendra Mehta underscored the city’s steady real estate growth, ensuring options for all budgets while maintaining a stable market. Past President Ajay Ashar stressed the critical role of infrastructure in driving this expansion, while CREDAI MCHI President Dominic Romell noted Thane’s leading position in the MMR’s real estate development.

A key attraction at this year’s expo is the "Laadki Bahen" initiative, introduced by CREDAI MCHI Thane to empower female homebuyers. Under this scheme, women can avail of a special discount by paying 20% of a property’s cost upfront during the four-day event.

"We hope a maximum number of women will benefit from this exclusive offer," Mehta said, encouraging female buyers to seize the opportunity to own their dream homes. Surajit Tripathy, DGM (Business Operations) at SBI, reiterated the bank’s commitment to supporting homebuyers through attractive home loan offerings.

Thane Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao highlighted key infrastructure projects that will enhance residents’ quality of life, while District Collector Ashok Shingare and Assistant Commissioner of MMRDA Ashwin Mudgal also marked their presence at the inauguration.

With a diverse range of properties, home finance solutions, and exclusive deals, the expo is set to attract thousands of prospective homebuyers over the next four days.
