Yahoo! Life Singapore reported that Zhang aired her grievances on Weibo on Feb. 4 in a lengthy post, listing everything Hsu had sacrificed for Wang during their marriage, which lasted from 2011 to 2021.

“She got married and switched from vegetarianism to eating meat for you when she became pregnant,” the post read, as quoted by India Times. “She supported your career by taking out loans for your business. She risked her life to give birth to both a son and a daughter for you.”

Zhang continued by detailing how Hsu attended an event with Wang immediately after suffering a miscarriage and was too afraid to eat. She also recalled how Hsu moved into Wang’s Beijing property despite suffering from severe rhinitis that made it unbearable for her to tolerate the city’s floating cottonwood fibers—yet, according to Zhang, Wang and his family showed no concern for her health.

“After the divorce, she never responded to any attacks from your family and only wanted to live her own life, yet you and your mother continued to harass her, exploiting her fame and wealth for financial gain,” Zhang wrote, referencing an incident when Wang and his mother Zhang Lan accused Hsu of drug use, which led to “chaos right outside her home.”

The Chinese actress further emphasized that while some believed Hsu could have been saved had she remained with Wang, she argued that it was Wang who had initially destroyed her health. She pointed out that he made Hsu pregnant four times despite knowing her fragile condition.

Zhang also accused Wang of physically assaulting Hsu, her younger sister Dee Hsu, and her closest friends while she’s pregnant.

“You borrowed money from her for business and never paid it back, yet you still manipulated public opinion to attack her online,” Zhang wrote. “You constantly exploited her status as a celebrity for your own gain.”

The allegations did not stop there, as Zhang further claimed that Wang “had countless affairs” and made no effort to stop his mother from “slandering, defaming, and attacking [Hsu] online.”

She also accused Wang of “brainwashing” Hsu by speaking ill of her mother and sister.

“You wanted to isolate her, to make sure she had no one but you, so you could control and humiliate her as you pleased,” she said.

Zhang also criticized those defending Wang.

“This world is ridiculous. You are using her death to craft a noble image for yourself,” she wrote. “Is this what love looks like to everyone?”

Hsu and Wang got engaged in 2010, just 49 days after their first date, and married in 2011. Although Hsu often spoke warmly of Wang, the couple announced their separation in 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.

Hsu married South Korean musician DJ Koo in Feb. 2022, while Wang also remarried, tying the knot with 26-year-old businesswoman Mandy Ma in 2024. Despite their new relationships, Hsu and Wang remained embroiled in public disputes, with Hsu accusing Wang of infidelity and physical abuse, while Wang countered with allegations that Hsu used his credit card to purchase luxury gifts for DJ Koo.

However, after Hsu’s family confirmed her death on Monday, Wang cut short his vacation in Thailand and rushed to Taiwan with Ma. He also left comments under social media videos about Hsu, referring to her as “wife.”

Hsu rose to fame through hit TV series such as “Meteor Garden,” “Mars,” and “Summer’s Desire.”
