Delhi Assembly Election Results 2025: Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has lost the election from New Delhi seat. BJP candidate Pravesh Verma has won this seat.

Delhi Chunav Results 2025: Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a major setback in the Delhi Assembly elections. On one hand, AAP is heading towards a crushing defeat. On the other hand, former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has lost the election from New Delhi seat. BJP candidate Pravesh Verma defeated him. Congress' Sandeep Dixit remained at third place.

Arvind Kejriwal got a total of 20190 votes till the 10th round. While Pravesh Verma got 22034 votes. In this way, Pravesh Verma was behind Arvind Kejriwal by 1844 votes. Apart from this, Sandeep Dixit got 3503 votes. Arvind Kejriwal was trailing behind Pravesh Verma from the initial trends.

BJP is leading on 47 seats

Let us tell you that the counting of votes for Delhi Assembly elections is going on. At present, BJP is leading on 47 seats, out of which it has won many seats. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party is leading on 22 seats. With this, Congress has not been able to open its account for the third consecutive time.

Manish Sisodia also lost the election

Not only Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi's former Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Jangpura Manish Sisodia has also lost the election. Meanwhile, Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj is trailing from Greater Kailash. 

Satyendra Jain and Awadh Ojha behind

Not only this, Satyendra Jain, who was a minister in the Delhi government, is also trailing from Shakur Basti. Awadh Ojha, a teacher and Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Patparganj, is also trailing. 

Atishi defeated Ramesh Bidhuri

However, it is a matter of relief for the Aam Aadmi Party that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has won the election from Kalkaji seat. Atishi defeated BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri. Talking about Okhla seat, AAP candidate Amanatullah Khan is leading there.
