Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio Indias largest telecom provider is known for its pocket-friendly tariff plans has launched several attractive plans in recent months to counter its rivals especially state-owned BSNL which has witnessed a resurgence of late. One such tariff plan is its Rs 999 plan which offers unlimited high-speed 5G data unlimited voice calls with a validity of 98 days at just Rs 999.
Jio Rs 999 Plan
Jios Rs 999 plan is geared towards subscribers who prefer long-term validity to avoid the hassle of monthly recharges. The plans offers 2GB high-speed daily 4G data unlimited 5G access (for users in 5G coverage areas and with compatible handsets) unlimited voice calls to any network across the country free nationwide roaming 100 daily SMS apart from access to Jios supplementary services such as JioTV JioCloud and JioCinema.
The plan costs Rs 999 carrying a 98-day validity which translates to less than Rs 10 per day making it one of the most affordable and value-for-money recharge plans in the market.
Jio Rs 189 Plan
Recently Mukesh Ambani-led Jio reintroduced its cheapest tariff plan to counter growing competition from rival providers. Earlier Jio had discontinued the Rs 189 plan but now the pocket-friendly tariff plan is once again listed on the companys official website and can be accessed under the Affordable Packs category.
Jios Rs 189 plan offers 2GB of high-speed 4G data (speed capped to 64kbps after data is exhausted) along with unlimited voice calls to any network within India as well as 300 SMS and nationwide roaming with a validity of 28 days. The affordable tariff plan is geared towards users who rarely use mobile internet and focus more on calling services.
The Rs 189 plan which was priced at Rs 155 before the tariff in July last year also offers access Jios supplementary services such as JioTV JioCloud and JioCinema.
Jios attractive recharge plans
Reliance Jio the countrys largest telecom provider owned by Asias richest man Mukesh Ambani has introduced a wide-range of attractive recharge plans to attract users who shifted to BSNL in large numbers after mobile tariffs were hiked by a significant margin earlier in July last year.
According to reports BSNL added over 55 million new users between July and August with Reliance Jio bearing the brunt of the losses losing over 40 lakh users during the same period.
