Popular singer Harrdy Sandhu has landed in legal trouble after being detained by Chandigarh police while performing at a fashion show. The police detained Sandhu as neither the singer nor the event had prior permission. As the news broke chaos erupted in the crowd leaving fans in shock. According to a report by News18 Harrdy was not performing at a concert but at a fashion show in Sector 34 Chandigarh. Sources claim that the issue emerged because Harrdy was performing without the necessary permission. Harrdy Sandhu is one of the most well-known singers in the Punjabi music industry. Over the years he has delivered several hit songs. However his major breakthrough came with chartbusters such as Bijlee Bijlee Kya Baat Ay Naah and Backbone. Sandhu also made his Bollywood debut in 2021 featuring in the sports drama 83. The singer-turned-actor portrayed the role of legendary cricketer Madan Lal. Notably Harrdy Sandhu is a former cricketer who played as a fast bowler for India in the U-19 Cricket World Cup in 2004. He is also passionate about dancing and fitness. Harrdy was last seen in the 2022 film Code Name: Tiranga alongside Parineeti Chopra. Since the release of the patriotic drama he has not appeared in any films. The film Code Name: Tiranga featured Parineeti Chopra as an undercover RAW agent on a deadly mission across multiple countries with Harrdy playing the male lead.
