Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025: One of the most important things while preparing for board exams is to stay in focus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told students while interacting with them during Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 at New Delhi. While sharing advice, he gave examples from his own experiences and day-to-day life. When a student asked about the importance of marks, PM Modi gave the example of a cricketer who focuses on only the next ball rather than thinking about the outcome. Similarly, the students should focus on learning and not the marks secured in the exams, he said.

“When you watch cricket, the sounds of sixes and fours come from the stadium, but what does the batsman do? He focuses on the ball without worrying about the pressure. His attention is on the ball. You must also decide in the exam what to study, and how much to study. You should put focus and not let your minds get distracted," he said.
He further added that just like cricketers watch their matches to realise their mistakes, students must turn their failures to their teacher. “Succeed in life and not just exams. For that, turn your failures into lessons. Cricketers watch their matches to realise their mistakes. Turn your failures into your teacher. Observe your strengths and work on them to succeed in life," the prime minister told students.

To cope with exam pressure, PM Modi advised students to first undertake the journey of self-discovery and get to know and understand themselves on a deeper level. The PM also emphasised the need for extra-curricular activities in life to unwind from day-to-day stress and recharge oneself. If one is forced to give up things they love, their mind will be restless, he said.

In its eighth edition in 2025, over 3.5 crore students, teachers, and parents registered for the programme. This included more than 20 lakh teachers and 5.5 lakh parents. PPC 2025 marked the highest participation to date, as per the official notice.
