Two-time heavyweight champion had a short and sweet response to 's prank.

Bellew, 42, recently appeared on the Michael McIntyre's 'Big Show' and was on the receiving end of an amusing gag. A popular segment of McIntyre's show is 'Send to All' which sees the comedian ask his star guest to hand over their phone before sending a text to everyone in their contacts.

McIntyre's text to Bellew's contacts read: "Just been asked in an interview who's the person I've met with the most punchable face and I said you. Hope you don't mind." The message was accompanied with a fist and a blue heart emoji. Many ex-sporting stars and celebrities were quick to reply to the text, and some of them were rather humours.

Among those who responded was former footballer, Jamie Redknapp - who replied: "Punchable face? Look in the mirror, mate. BTW, I should be punching you for all the free clothes you've been asking for." Chelsea legend was also eager to offer his own reply, saying: "Never mind that, you still owe me £20!" While the likes of James Corden and comedian Rob Beckett, also responded, perhaps the most intriguing reply came from Joshua.

"Ok, I don't know what this means, but it's fun because it's from ," McIntyre said before reading out the text which contained 11 laughing emojis. 'AJ' had a three-word response to the text after, simply saying: "I love fighting.'' The drama didn't end there, though.

McIntyre decided to end on Bellew's former rival, David Haye. The two stars first were involved in a bitter feud for many years before settling the score in 2017. The 'Bomber' would go on to knock Haye out deep into the 11th round before going head-to-head for a second time a year later. This time around, the Liverpudlian got the job done far earlier, scoring a knockout in the fifth round to put the rivalry to bed once and for all.

After confirming that Haye replied to the text, Bellew was left rather embarrassed. 'The Hayemaker' had a rather unusual response, texting back: "The guys want to punch it and the girls want to snog it... story of my life!" McIntyre was left stunned by the reply but went on to FaceTime the 44-year-old.

The comedian threw Bellew under the bus by joking that he should take on Haye in a trilogy bout that evening. "I'm on my way!" Haye hilariously replied. While it was all fun and games, it's very unlikely that the pair will go head-to-head again. Bellew retired from the sport in 2018 after suffering an agonising defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, while 'The Hayemaker' hung his gloves up following the sequel loss to the Liverpudlian. That said, he returned to the ring four years ago, defeating Joe Fournier in an exhibition bout.
