Nalanda University, which revived the educational heritage of ancient India, has announced the admission process for the academic session 2025-26. The Vice Chancellor of the University said that this year applications have been invited for a total of 500 seats in various postgraduate courses. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new campus of Nalanda University in Rajgir, Bihar last year. Nalanda University, which is famous all over the world for its academic heritage, has now been reopened. The university is now welcoming new students and many types of educational programs are being conducted here.

Nalanda University: Admission Eligibility

For Master's Programmes: Candidates must have a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (10+2+3) in the relevant language or any other subject with at least 55% marks in Class 12.

For PhD Programmes: Candidates must have a degree in the relevant field with at least 65% marks.

For Diploma Programmes: A three-year Bachelor's degree is required.

The new campus is spread over 100 acres and uses traditional architecture as well as eco-friendly design, making it completely carbon-neutral. The campus includes:

-Two academic blocks, with 40 classrooms for about 1,900 students.

-Two administrative blocks and two auditoriums, with a capacity of over 300.

-Hostels for 550 students and 197 educational housing units.

-Facilities such as sports complex, medical center, commercial center, and faculty club.
