Maharashtra State Board Exam 2025: NMMC Deploys Mobile Squads, Strict Monitoring To Ensure Fair Exams

To ensure a copy-free, fear-free, and fair examination process, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has made extensive preparations. One of the significant steps taken in this regard is Navi Mumbai Municipal corporation (NMMC) establishing three mobile squads and two static teams, consisting of 15 officers and staff members to monitor the exam centers.

In the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area, a total of 16,496 students are appearing for the Class 12 exams across 30 examination centers. Among them, 361 students are taking the exams at two NMMC-run schools.

The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) exams for Class 12 commenced on Tuesday and will continue until March 18. The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams for Class 10 are also scheduled from the end of February.

Following this meeting, for the smooth conduct of the ongoing Class 12 exams. Deputy Commissioner of Education, Smt. Sangharatna Khillare, has been appointed as the Control Officer, and along with Education Officers and Center Coordinators.

“The control officer has been instructed to visit various examination centers to inspect the arrangements. Meanwhile even as no center in the NMMC jurisdiction has been declared sensitive, strict precautions are being taken. It has been mandated that CCTV cameras at exam centers remain operational, and recordings should be properly stored. It has been made clear that any exam center found involved in malpractice will face permanent de-recognition, and teachers or staff found guilty will be dismissed,” informed the official.

Additionally, no unauthorized individuals are allowed within 100 meters of the examination centers, In case of any malpractice or complaint, students and parents can contact Deputy Commissioner of Education, Smt. Sangharatna Khillare, at 022-27567067.
