London-based technology company Nothing, has announced that its latest smartphone innovation, the Nothing Phone (3a) Series. The 3A series is expected to be launched on March 4.The new series is being manufactured locally in India. Here's a brief outlook about the highlights of the upcoming launch. This facility is central to the production of the Nothing Phone (3a) Series, reinforcing the brand’s goal to local manufacturing.The announcement comes at a significant time for Nothing. According to Counterpoint Research’s Monthly India Smartphone tracker, Nothing recorded an impressive 577% year-over-year growth in India’s smartphone market in 2024. The popularity was driven by strong demand for the Phone (2a) Series and its sub-brand CMF by Nothing. Additionally, Nothing recently surpassed $1 billion in lifetime revenue. That too just four years after its launch in October 2020.Nothing has significantly contributed to job creation. Over 500 employees were on-boarded in their factory in Chennai, where the Phone (3a) Series is being manufactured, with 95% of the employees being women.Nothing 3A launch: Key highlightsThe smartphones are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. You can get two storage variants on the Nothing Phone 3a- 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The Pro variant can come in a singular 12GB + 256GB variant. Coming to the software part, he series will be incorporated with Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0.The price range of 3A can be within Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999. The Phone 3A Pro can start at a price range of Rs 27,999 and Rs 29,999.
