Material (Matar dhokla recipe)
- Fresh peas – 1 cup
- Semolina (rava) – 1 cup
- Besan – 1/2 cup
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger paste – 1 teaspoon
- Green Chilli-1-2 (chopped)
- Baking Soda – 1/2 teaspoon
- salt to taste
- Water – 1/2 cup (to make batter)
- Fresh green coriander – to decorate
- Oil – for tempering
- Rye and curry leaves – for tempering

Method (Matar dhokla recipe)
- First of all, wash and boil fresh peas well. Then mash them well so that the batter of Dhokla becomes soft and smooth.
- Add semolina, gram flour, curd, turmeric, ginger paste, green chillies, and boiled peas in a large pot. Now prepare a thick and soft batter by adding some water to it.
- Add baking soda and salt to the batter and mix well. Baking soda will make Dhokla a lighter and spongy.
- Heat water in a steamer or large pot. To make Dhokla, apply a little oil in a plate and apply it. Now spread the prepared batter in a plate and spread it evenly.
- Place the plate in a steamer and steam the dhokla for 15-20 minutes. When Dhokla looks soft and bloated, understand that it is ready.
- Heat a little oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves and prepare the tempering. Pour this tempering on the steam dhokla.
- Cut the pea dhokla into small pieces, garnish by adding fresh green coriander and serve hot.
