It wasn’t a merry time for Beverly Ortega on the reality TV show — The Bachelor. The 30-year-old influencer had to pull herself out citing health issues. Ortega was supposed to be on a one-on-one date with Grant Ellis in the third episode. And, now, her unexpected exit has added drama to the much-loved show.
During the Monday night episode of The Bachelor, Grant Ellis and Carolina Quixano went on a one-on-one date followed by a surprise prom as well as a big group date.
Well, well, Grant was also supposed to go on a date with Ortega but she left in between in a mysterious fashion, Decider reported.
Talking about Ortega’s exit, Parisa Shifteh was seen telling cameras that Ortega fell "very sick" and later they found out that "she will not be coming back to the house."

Reality Steve explained that Ortega got "very sick after the basketball date and was taken to the hospital."
"She eventually wasn’t able to be medically cleared to return back to the show so she went home this episode," Cosmopolitan quoted Steve as saying.
The influencer said that she "honestly was so excited" about her date, but when she woke up next morning, her stomach was hurting and she later started throwing up.
"I'm in excruciating pain. I’m continuing to throw up. It’s a mess. This goes on for 12 hours," Decider quoted her as saying.
As her health continued to deteriorate, the production team took her to hospital where the doctor told her, "You have appendicitis and you’re going to need emergency surgery”.
Ortega, who got her gallbladder removed in 2018, stated that her father told her to take a flight back home in New York and get the surgery done there. However, this posed a risk to her appendix bursting on the plane.
"Honestly, it took me like a month and a half to recover emotionally,” she said, adding that after the surgery, her mother came to pick her up.
"It was really sad that we didn’t get that moment," she said about her date with Grant Ellis.
