Several actors started their careers as child actors and became unforgettable with their roles. Some of them continued in the industry some opted for different paths while some disappeared from the scene unannounced. The child actor grew up to bag a role in mythological show Mahabharata as Abhimanyu shooting him to popularity. However he soon quit the industry and tried his luck in business. His name is Mayur Raj Verma also addressed as Master Mayur.

Mayur Verma had an uncanny resemblance with Big B that got him to become very high in demand at that time. Mahabharata was his next big breakthrough that got him to become a household name. However he was not seen in any major projects post the mythological show.

Mayur Verma was an outsider according to ET report his mother was a renowned journalist who interviewed filmstars. In a chance upon conversation with filmmaker Prakash Mehra who was at that time in search of a child artist for playing young Amitabh she suggested her son for the role.
Master Mayur played Big Bs younger version in a series of movies like Laawaris Love in Goa Sharabi Kanoon Apna Apna and many more.
Where is He Now?
After his stint in Bollywood he quit the industry all together and went on to become a business man. Currently he runs Indian restaurants with his wife outside India. He got married to famous chef Noori with whom he has two children.
There is no known reason behind why he took this step. Several people were surprised as he was at peak of his career and was envisioned to be a superstar in making. As per an NDTV report he runs many workshops along with giving acting classes.
