For the last few days, a message (SBI scam) has been very viral on social media. In this, the SBI Netbanking Reward Point of Rs 9980 is being talked about. In the message, people are asked to upload apk file (apk file for reward points) to redeem this reward point. These messages are being sent to people through SMS, email, and WhatsApp.

SBI said this-

SBI has given information that these messages are completely fake. In PIB fact check, this message is being told to be fake. At the same time, SBI is also informing that they are never sending any kind of link to their customers through SMS or WhatsApp (whatsapp link scam).

No advice is given to people by the bank (RBI alert) and the government to download APK files. People have been advised to contact SBI officials for any kind of reward (reward points) etc.
