On Wednesday, BJP leaders said that two Chief Ministers can be made in the Delhi government. The party is engaged in trying to help Delhi's ethnic and regional equations through it. Prior to this, many states including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan have seen this, when the BJP has made the equations by making 2 Deputy Chief Ministers.
BJP leaders said that this proposal is under consideration of national leadership, which will take a final decision on it, besides, a final decision will also be taken on the names of the Chief Minister and other ministers. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns from the foreign tour, the process of formation in Delhi is likely to accelerate.
Party leaders said that the meeting of the BJP Legislature Party is likely to be held on Sunday to elect the House leader, which will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi.
The names of many BJP MLAs are discussed among the contenders for the post of Chief Minister. These include Pravesh Verma, who defeated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi seat. Apart from this, senior leaders like Delhi BJP chief Vijendra Gupta, Satish Upadhyay and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Pawan Sharma, Ashish Sood, Rekha Gupta and Shikha Rai are also said to be involved in the race for the post of Chief Minister.
Party leaders also took the names of some newly elected MLAs like Karnail Singh and Raj Kumar Bhatia, who are being described as a possible contender for the post of Chief Minister.
