Amitabh Bachchan had practiced a lot standing in front of the mirror for the temple scene and monologue in the film Deewaar but deliberately did not dub this scene because he felt that he would not be able to bring back the emotion of that role during dubbing which he would feel for the first time. Amitabh himself had said that he was so scared before this scene that he remained sitting in his room from morning till night.
