The Ministry of External Affairs said Modi held a productive meeting with Gabbard, and the discussions focused on enhancing intelligence cooperation in counter-terrorism, cybersecurity, and emerging threats.
Gabbard confirmed as Director of National IntelligenceEarlier in the day, US Attorney General Pam Bondi administered the oath to Gabbard at the Oval Office, with US President Donald Trump in attendance. The White House shared the video of Gabbard’s swearing-in ceremony on X.

Modi to meet Trump, Musk
During his US visit, PM Modi will also meet US business leaders, including Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO who is also the closest ally of President Donald Trump, during his visit to the White House on Thursday.
On his scheduled meeting with Trump, Modi said the two nations will keep working closely for the benefit of our people and for a better future for our planet.
