Maharashtra Cyber ​​Cell has sent a second summon to YouTuber and comedian Samay Raina in the India's Got Talent case. He has been asked to appear on February 17. This is the second summon sent this week amid the controversy over podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia's statement. His lawyer has said that he is in America and will return on March 17. 

The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Tuesday asked Alhabdia, Raina, Apoorva Makhija, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Chanchlani, and the show's producers Tushar Pujari and Saurabh Bothra to appear in Delhi on February 17. Before the controversy, Alhabdia, who had over 16 million followers on social media, had a video of his controversial statement on the relationship between parents that sparked a huge debate on freedom of expression and decency.

In a short clip from the show that has now gone viral, Allahbadia is seen asking a contestant, "Would you rather see your parents having sex every day or stop it once and for all?"

Allahabadia has apologised in the video. He has called his statement a "wrong decision". Raina has removed all episodes of "India's Got Talent" from YouTube and has promised to fully cooperate with the investigation, but the matter is not yet resolved. Mumbai police have recorded statements of seven people, including social media influencer Apoorva Makhija. Officials told news agency PTI that Allahabadia will appear before them in a day or two.

Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Cyber ​​Department has sent summons to more than 40 people. They have been asked to join the investigation of the case. The 40 people include participants of the previous episodes of the program and judges. Guwahati Police has registered a case against Allahabadia and four others and a team in Mumbai is investigating the case.
