Indian dairy brand Amul often releases creative artwork on trending topics. This time, an Amul Doodle referring to the recent incident involving Bengaluru police and famed singer Ed Sheeran has created a buzz on social media.
'Perfect' singer Ed Sheeran recently performed in Bengaluru in front of a huge audience. Along with his stage show, he was spotted busking on the streets of the city. The latter act was questioned by a policeman. While the cop pointed out he didn't have permission to busk on a busy roadside, the singer later clarified he had required approvals for the act.
Amul dropped a doodle on the busking incident. The brand gave it a foodie twist. They pointed out one might need permission to perform on streets but not enjoy a slice of bread and butter.

"Eat on the street", read the post caption where Amul asked people to engage in sharing a snack. "Ed sharin' a snack!", said the doodle.
The doodle recreated the visuals of a Bengaluru cop approaching the British singer, however, with a bread-butter twist. Instead of plugging off the microphone and the guitar connection wire, Amul's policeman offered a slide of bread coated with butter to Ed Sheeran.
Netizens in splits
This picture is now going viral across social media platforms and leaving netizens in splits. The comments section of Amul's post dedicated to Ed Sheeran and the busking scene from Bengaluru was flooded with laughter emojis.
