It is everyone's dream to have their own house. Everyone works very hard for their dream. They collect money. Then they can buy a house. But despite this, many people are unable to buy or build a house.

Such people are given help by the Government of India. The government started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for this in the year 2015. Under which crores of people have benefited so far. The government has fixed some eligibility to take benefits in the housing scheme.

Based on this eligibility, benefits are given in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. A rule has also been fixed regarding income. Let us tell you. People earning how much per month can apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Actually, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, people of different classes are benefited on a different basis. It includes families of weaker sections (EWS), lower-income groups (LIG), and middle-income groups (MIG).

If someone is applying in the scheme to get benefit from a weaker section i.e. EWS category. So his family's annual income should be up to Rs 3 lakh only. If it is more than this, then benefits will not be available in this category.

Apart from this, the annual income for the lower income group i.e. LIG class should be from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh only. On the other hand, the annual income in the middle-income group-I (MIG-I) should be from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.

On the other hand, if we talk about middle-income group-II (MIG-II), then the annual income in it must be from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 18 lakh. Apart from this, there should not be a pucca house in the name of any member of the family anywhere in India. So the benefit of any government housing scheme should not have been taken earlier.
