Once an iconic actress in Bollywood she made people go gaga over her looks performance and dance. As a result this actress became Indias first pan-India actress to take home Rs 1 crore as her fees. She is none other than the legendary late actress Sridevi. Sridevi started at an early age and not in just Bollywood she sparked her magic in South cinema too. In 1972 Sridevi debuted as a child artist with Rani Mera Naam. She also appeared in the film Julie (1975). Over the years she made several super-hit films. Apart from being the first Indian actress who charge Rs 1 crore Sridevi also became the first female actress to charge more than her co-actors. During 1992-97 the three Khans were the top stars of the industry along along with Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt. Even then they used to charge between 50-75 lakhs at that time. The Khans did not cross the Rs 1 crore mark until the end of the 90s when Sridevi quit films. Sridevi left Bollywood in 1997 after announcing her retirement from acting because of pregnancy. Her film Judaai released in 1997 was her last film for almost 15 years. She was only 33 years old at that time. The legendary actress passed away at the age of 54 in mysterious circumstances in 2018.
