Therefore, Yashoda Jayanti will be celebrated on 18 February 2025, Tuesday and fast will be observed on this day.
Worship method of mother Yashoda and Bal Gopal
Worshiping Yashoda on Yashoda Jayanti with full rituals gives the blessings of mother Yashoda and Lord Shri Krishna. Pooja method is as follows:
➺ Get up in Brahma Muhurta and meditate on Mother Yashoda.
➺ Take a bath with the water mixed with Ganga water and wear clean clothes.
➺ Take a pledge of fast and resolve to worship Lord Krishna and Mother Yashoda with devotion.
➺ Put a red cloth on a checkpoint and install the idol or picture of Mother Yashoda and Bal Gopal on it.
➺ Offer roli, sandalwood, flowers, durva, vermilion and Akshat in worship.
➺ Worship Mother Yashoda and Bal Gopal by lighting a lamp of ghee.
➺ Offer fruits, pudding and sweets to mother Yashoda and offer Makhan-Mishri to Bal Gopal.
➺ Chant and meditate on the mantras of Lord Krishna.
➺ Finally, perform the Aarti of Mata Yashoda and Shri Krishna and perform the puja.
➺ Keep fast throughout the day and do fruits after worship in the evening.
