It's hard to believe that pop sensation has been making waves in the industry since 2008.
The singer, who's greatest hits include Poker Face, Bad Romance and Telephone, has been delighting fans with her musical talent for nearly two decades, but there are still some things people don't know about the pop icon.
For example, many don't realise the star's name was actually inspired by something very British indeed. Gaga, 38, who's real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was thinking of one thing in particular when looking for a stage name, according to reports.

It's something that's been widely talked about on social media platform, , and people have shared many theories as to what inspired the quirky name. Fans had all sorts of ideas as to what led to the "Gaga" brand.
The origin of Lady Gaga's name is thought to be attributed to Queen's hit song "Radio Ga Ga", according to the . A statement reads: "Throw on the faux-royal title, and you've got a moniker that the won't soon forget."
According to reports, record producer Rob Fusari sent a text message to the singer with the nickname "Radio Gaga", but his phone's autocorrect feature changed "Radio" to "Lady". She is said to have liked it straight away, and this is how the "Gaga" name was born.
A post on social media read: "Today I learned that Lady Gaga's stage name came from Queen's song 'Radio Ga Ga'. One day when Fusari addressed a cell phone text to Germanotta under the moniker 'Radio Gaga'. His cell phone's spell check converted 'Radio' to 'Lady.' Germanotta loved it, and 'Lady Gaga' was born."
Some people didn't know whether to believe the theory though, and they were quick to share all sorts of ideas. It certainly got a lot of people talking.
One person said: "According to Wikipedia, she was already known as by the time she played Lollapalooza on August 4, 2007. The first came out on June 29 of that year, so I'd say there's an extremely minimal chance that her name came from autocorrect on a smartphone (which I'm assuming is what you have)."
Another wrote: "I could've sworn she said she got it because her then boyfriend (I don't know who) would sing Radio Gaga whenever she walked into the room/studio."
A third also replied: "I love Queen, but I hate that song." Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "I can't believe she wasn't Lady Gaga before cell phones."
