Former star Diane Youdale, also known as Jet, has made a heartbreaking six word confession about her recent break-up.

The 54-year-old, who recently changed her name to Diane Jetstrong, said that she made mistakes during her recent 12-month marriage to Zoe Gilbert.

The pair, who married just four months after meeting in a car park, divorced in July 2024.

Since then, Diane has spoken in greater detail about how she feels about the relationship and what happened, going so far as to say she was "hoodwinked".

Diane told People Are Deep podcast: "It's called being hoodwinked because sometimes what you see on the packet isn't what you get and I tragically did that."

She then made a six-word confession, saying: "I just accepted the fact that I'd got it wrong, we make mistakes.

"I can't change my past, to me anybody coming into my life, regardless of their history, their history's made their present, and it's our present we can move forwards to for our future."

This isn't the only time Diane has discussed the breakdown of her marriage to Zoe. Speaking to the , she admitted that near the end of their relationship she "snapped" which in turn caused Zoe to "fall over the back of a sofa".

She added: "I pressed on her chest three times firmly and said, 'Stop this now.' I can't remember what happened then. The next thing I knew I was being led out by the police."

Diane also said that their relationship became so toxic that at one point she considered ending her life admitting that she "felt suicidal".

The sudden divorce was a far cry from the sudden start to the relationship, one described by the pair when they appeared on Lorraine in 2023 to announce their marriage.

Zoe said she had had to find the courage to ask Diane out. She explained: "In short I had seen her in the carpark and thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd seen, then we exchanged names."

She then said that she went up to Diane, told her she was the most beautiful woman she'd seen and decided to ask her out.

Today, outside of recovering following the end of their relationship, Diane hosts a Gladiators themed podcast in which she interviews former cast members and current members of the crew of the current version of Gladiators on the BBC.
