For the final phase of Mahakumbh 2025, the state government has taken an important decision to provide better travel facilities to the devotees. State Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that during the last phase of Mahakumbh, 2250 additional buses will be operated on 15, 16 and 17 February (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) in view of the arrival of devotees.
In this final phase of Mahakumbh, along with the Amrit bath, lakhs of devotees will reach Prayagraj on Saturday and Sunday to take a bath in Prayagraj. Keeping this huge gathering in mind, the Transport Department has taken this step to ensure safe and easy travel to the devotees. Especially in these days, additional buses are being arranged for the convenience of passengers at temporary bus stations of Prayagraj.
The Transport Minister directed that the duty of officers will be determined at temporary bus stations to ensure that buses are operated smoothly in these days. This will not only make it easier to operate buses but will not have to face any kind of inconvenience. The minister also said that a detailed action plan should be prepared for the successful operation of buses during these holidays and it should be implemented properly.
Dayashankar Singh also ensured that all the nodal officers have been directed to make all necessary arrangements to ensure a safe journey for the devotees coming to Mahakumbh. Devotees should not face any kind of trouble or problem. If any type of complaint comes, the responsibility of the concerned nodal officers will be fixed.
It is the effort of the Uttar Pradesh government in this important event of Mahakumbh that devotees do not have any problem during the journey and they can comfortably fulfill their religious duties. With this decision, the state government has given a message that the government is taking all possible steps for the safety and convenience of the devotees.
