Marriage lawn will be developed in an area of about two acres on Gomti River Front near 1090 intersection of Lucknow, where various types of events will be organized in addition to the wedding ceremony. Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) vice -president Prathamesh Kumar on Wednesday inspected the river front and directed to develop the area in terms of marriage lawn. Along with this, the target to complete the work being done by the infrastructure fund on the river front within two months.
LDA Chief Engineer Avnindra Kumar Singh said that the work of repairing the kitchen and toilet blocks at a cost of about 65 lakh rupees on Gomti River Front at a cost of about 65 lakh rupees. Apart from this, for regular irrigation of trees and plants, the work of planting sprinkler at a cost of about two crore rupees and laying underground pipeline is being done, which has been instructed to complete within two months.
LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar inspected the Archery Ground developed in front of the Woman Power Line Office. This ground has been developed in about 150 meters in length and 100 meters width, where a total of 14 targets of 10, 20, 50, 70 and 100 meters have been built. About eight feet tall fensing has been done to protect the ground. The Chief Engineer said that recently a training camp was organized by the UP Archery Association in the ground. During the trial, members of the union have appreciated the arrangements made by the LDA in the ground.
Lucknow Development Authority has started boating facility in the lake of Janeshwar Mishra Park. Till now, there was only a paddle boat in the lake, due to which children and senior citizens were inconvenienced in running paddles. Keeping this in mind, the LDA vice -president had given instructions to order electric boats, in which seven electric boats have been called.
Five to seven people can walk together in these electric boats. On Wednesday, the vice -president inspected Janeshwar Mishra Park and also reviewed the facility of boating. Apart from this, two and a half kilometers long synthetic track is being made near Gate No-7 in the park, which the vice president gave instructions to complete it soon.
