Big action of Haryana Congress, 7 leaders were expelled from party before municipal elections

The Haryana Congress on Thursday expelled its 7 leaders for anti -party activities. This major action of Haryana Congress has taken place at a time when municipal elections are going to be held in the state next month. According to the order of Haryana Pradesh Congress chief, all seven leaders have been expelled from the party for 6 years with immediate effect.

The order issued by Haryana Pradesh Congress chief Uday Bhan said that the corporation has been found involved in anti -party activities in recent times during the election process. At the same time, after getting the report related to this, all the seven leaders are expelled from the party for the next six years with immediate effect.

These leaders were out of party

Among the party expelled by the party, former president of the District Congress Committee (DCC) of Karnal, Tarlochan Singh and Ashok Khurana, party leaders Pradeep Chaudhary and Madhu Chaudhary in Yamunanagar, senior leaders of Hisar Ram Niwas Rara, party leaders Harvinder and Ram Kishan in Gurugram San's name is included.

Rara and Tarlochan Singh join BJP

Ram Niwas Rara and former DCC president Tarlochan Singh recently joined the ruling BJP. Rara lost in the assembly elections held last year, while Tarlochan Singh was defeated by former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar from Karnal assembly seat in the 2019 assembly elections. Tarlochan Singh lost to Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini in the election held last year.

Municipal corporation elections will be held in two phases

The municipal corporation in Haryana is to be held in two phases. The election of the first phase will be held on March 2 and the second phase will be held on 9 March. While the results will come on 12 March. In Haryana, 7 out of 8 municipal corporations, Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Hisar, Karnal, Rohtak and Yamunanagar will be held on 2 March. While elections will be held on 9 March for Panipat Municipal Corporation. Along with this, elections will also be held for 33 municipal bodies, four city councils and 21 city committees of the state.
