SSC CGL 2024: Final Vacancy List Out At ssc.gov.in; Option-Cum-Preference Process Starts

SSC CGL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2024 final list of vacancies on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.

The SSC has also announced the final list of vacancies for SSC CGL 2024 recruitment. This year, 18,174 vacancies will be completed. The categorical distribution is: There are 7,567 openings for Unreserved (UR) applicants, 2,762 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 1,606 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 4,521 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 1,718 for Economically Weaker Sections.

SSC CGL 2024: How to download the final vacancy list?

Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.

On the homepage, click on the Final Vacancies of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 (as of 21.02.2025) link.

After this, the pdf of details vacancy will appear on the new window.

Now, download the SSC CGL Tier 1 Call Letter and take a printout of the same for further reference.

SSC CGL 2024: Option-cum-preference

The commission is now also allowing candidates to submit option-cum-preference for posts and departments. Candidates who are eligible for the Tier 2 exam can check all the details from the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. Candidates can fill out the choices by February 27, 2025, 5 p.m.

SSC CGL 2024: How to fill the option-cum-preference form?

Step 1: Go to the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Now, aspirants must log in using the Candidate Login page.

Step 3: After this, pick the preferred postings and departments from the "My Application" option.

Step 4: Next, applicants can only change their selections during this time frame, after which the last choice given will be deemed final.

Step 5: Click on the "SUBMIT" button to finish the procedure.

SSC CGL 2024: Exam details

From September 9 to September 26, 2024, the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was administered online via computer. The Tier 1 results were released on December 5, 2024, shortlisting applicants for the Tier 2 test, which was held from January 18 to 20, 2025, and on January 31, 2025.
