The three main Khans of Bollywood have always dominated the industry. Whether it is Shah Rukh Khan Salman Khan or even Aamir Khan none of them have left any stone unturned in entertaining fans. Today we will talk about one of these actors who has not featured in any film for the last three years. Also the actor in discussion has stopped charging a fixed fee for films. We are talking about none other than Aamir Khan. Aamir is one of the most loved actors of his time. Even today viewers adore his performances. However the actor has not appeared in any film for the last three years. His last film was Laal Singh Chaddha which did not do well at the box office. Recently Aamir appeared at an event hosted by ABP. The actor reflected on his career failures his approach to work and his unique earning model. Khan is all set to turn 60 next month and has been in the Bollywood industry for decades now. During the press event Aamir was asked how he continues to experiment with his roles in the industry while other actors stick to one image. In response Aamir opened up and revealed surprising details about his remuneration. He said Pichle 20-21 saal se main fee nahi leta film karne ki. Toh agar aapko film pasand aati hai toh main kamata hoon aur agar nahi toh main bhi nahi kamata. He further explained that for the last two decades he has not charged a fixed fee as an actor. Instead he earns only if the film performs well. While discussing the economics of filmmaking Aamir highlighted the significance of a movie recovering its production costs. He explained that a film generally needs to earn at least Rs 20-30 crore to cover its fundamental expenses. If the production is mounted at Rs 200 crore and the star charges a hefty fee how will the film recover its cost if it flops? he questioned. Elaborating further Aamir revealed that this is the oldest model of earning for a performing artist which is still prevalent in Europe. Main oldest tareeka kamane ka follow karta hoon isliye mujhe bohot freedom hai toh main experiment kar paata hoon he added. Coming to Aamirs work front the actor will next be seen in Sitare Zameen Par. The movie will feature Genelia DSouza and Darsheel Safary in lead roles. Helmed by RS Prasanna the movie was announced in 2023 and rumors suggest that it will hit the big screens on Christmas 2025.
