The gorgeous photos from Pakistani celebrity couple Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed’s Walima ceremony have made the rounds on social media. The two performers, who debuted together in the drama Jannat Se Aage, had long been famous for their close friendship. Since early 2025, though, whispers of the couple getting married began circulating.

The two, who were best friends for several years, have now got married, vindicating Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic line “Pyaar Dosti Hai” . They had a very joyful and celebratory wedding, and their photos and videos were a blend of admiration and criticism on social media.

The wedding celebrations started in Karachi with a Dholki, game night, and pre-wedding picnic party. Thereafter, the star couple and their near family and friends departed for Makkah, where they took their vows on February 12 in the outer courtyard of the Kaaba. On February 19, the ceremony of Mayun was observed in Karachi, whereas on February 20, the Shendi ceremony was done. Even prior to the couple making their videos and photos taken from Shendi, they were viral already across sources.

On Shendi day, Kubra and Gohar danced jubilantly along with their visitors, which opened their faces to societal criticism through online users. Several questioned their joyous mood, given that the couple had recently completed their Umrah prior to their wedding. Now, the photos of their Walima are all over social media, garnering everyone’s attention. In the widely viral picture, Kubra Khan is depicted wearing a beautiful white lehenga-choli, while Gohar Rasheed appears suave in a white top with a brown coat and pants.

Fans were waiting eagerly for Baraat event, which was supposed to include Kubra Khan’s Rukhsati. But the Walima photo indicates that the Shendi was a combined Mehendi and Baraat event. The viral photo captures the couple on stage, sitting together, holding hands, and posing together. Now, fans are waiting excitedly for HD photos from their Walima, officially posted by the couple themselves.
