The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened applications for the 13th batch of its Youth for India Fellowship 2025, a 13-month rural development program aimed at young professionals committed to social change.
Who Can Apply?
The fellowship is open to:
- Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and citizens of Nepal and Bhutan.
- Individuals aged 21 to 32 at the time of application.
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree (completed before the start of the fellowship).
- Recent graduates, working professionals, and entrepreneurs are passionate about rural development.
- No prior work experience is required, but applicants should demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to rural conditions.
Fellowship Benefits
Selected fellows will receive:
- A monthly stipend of ₹15,000 for living expenses.
- A ₹50,000 readjustment allowance upon successful completion.
- Coverage for travel and project-related expenses.
